Track Print Status

Use print status filters to find orders without printed packing lists. This helps ensure all orders are properly documented.

Problem: Packing list doesn’t appear or won’t print.

Solutions:

  1. Check order status - orders must be in Processing status (Status 9)
  2. Verify order has products - orders without products won’t generate packing lists
  3. Check browser popup blocker - ensure popups are allowed
  4. Try printing individual order - use Actions menu on single order
  5. Check browser console for JavaScript errors
  6. Try different browser
  7. Verify PDF viewer is working - test with another PDF

Problem: Packing list shows incomplete product information.

Solutions:

  1. Verify products are assigned to order - check order details
  2. Check bin assignments - products need bin locations
  3. Review product data - ensure SKUs, descriptions, and other fields are complete
  4. Refresh order data - reload the order page
  5. Check product status - ensure products are active and available

Problem: Custom packing slip template doesn’t show when printing.

Solutions:

  1. Verify template is saved - check Packing List Editor
  2. Check account assignment - ensure template is assigned to correct account
  3. Clear browser cache - old templates may be cached
  4. Verify template format - ensure template is valid HTML/Twig
  5. Check template permissions - ensure you have access to custom templates
  6. Try standard template - verify standard printing works first

Problem: Packing lists for multi-box orders don’t separate by box.

Solutions:

  1. Use “Print Packing List by Box” option - don’t use standard print
  2. Verify order has multiple boxes - check Box Number field
  3. Check multibox configuration - ensure multibox is properly set up
  4. Review box assignments - verify products are assigned to correct boxes
  5. Try printing individual boxes - select specific box numbers

Problem: Attached PDF files don’t appear with packing lists.

Solutions:

  1. Verify files are attached - check order details for attached files
  2. Check file format - ensure files are PDF format
  3. Review file permissions - ensure files are accessible
  4. Try printing attached files separately - use “Print Attached File” option
  5. Check file size - very large files may not merge properly
  6. Verify file upload - ensure files were uploaded successfully

Problem: Print status doesn’t update after printing packing list.

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page - print status updates on page reload
  2. Check order status - print status only updates for Processing orders
  3. Verify print action completed - ensure print modal closed successfully
