Your menu shows only sections you are allowed to use.

Locate Main Section
Find the main menu section that contains your feature (Orders, Inventory, Reports, etc.).

Check Dropdown Menu
Click the main menu item to see dropdown submenu. Many features are in submenus.

Navigate to Feature
Click the specific menu item to go to that feature page.

Use Active Indicator
Check highlighted menu item to confirm you’re on the correct page.
Keyboard Navigation
- Use Tab key to navigate menu items
- Press Enter to activate menu item
- Arrow keys navigate dropdown menus
- Escape closes dropdown menus
Breadcrumb Navigation
- Some pages show breadcrumb trails
- Click breadcrumb items to navigate back
- Shows your navigation path

Problem: Expected menu item doesn’t appear
- Solution:
- Check your user permissions for that feature
- Confirm premium services are enabled (for My Shelf, etc.)
- Contact administrator to update permissions
- Check if feature is enabled in system configuration
Problem: Menu item appears but page shows access denied
- Solution:
- You may have menu access but not page access
- Check specific page permissions
- Verify user level requirements
- Contact administrator for access
Problem: Dropdown menu doesn’t open
- Solution:
- Check JavaScript is enabled in browser
- Try clicking menu item again
- Refresh page and try again
- Check browser console for errors
- Try different browser
Problem: Active page indicator incorrect
- Solution:
- This is usually a display issue
- Refresh page to update indicator
- Check URL matches expected page
- Active indicator updates on page load
Problem: Menu structure looks different than expected
- Solution:
- Menu structure depends on your permissions and account settings
- Verify you’re logged in with the correct account
- Some features require premium services or feature flags
Problem: Cannot access feature from menu
- Solution:
- Verify you have permission for that feature
- Check user level requirements
- Confirm feature is enabled in system
- Try accessing page directly via URL
- Contact administrator if issue persists
Problem: Menu shows but page loads slowly
- Solution:
- Check internet connection
- Wait for page to fully load
